A prestigious award for small to medium-sized businesses. The Digital Enterprise Top 100 is an award to those business showing resilience, innovation and digital transformation.

We are delighted to have been recognised for all these criteria in the Leeds area, sitting amongst many different kinds of businesses on the top 100 list  – from IT support to catering companies.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to support the use of technology. Our hands-on approach is often the star of the show when it comes to Lowe Maintenance. Demelza, therefore, relished the opportunity to showcase some of our behind-the-scenes works, to improve the experience from a digital perspective; both for candidates and the small, hard-working team.

Much like many other businesses in the world, one of our greatest challenges this year has been managing our organisation in-line with COVID-19. This has led to the introduction of online learning. As a result, we have not only made many of our courses largely an online service but also streamlining the process for candidates.

Whilst many aspects of the business have had to deal with unexpected change, during this time we have also been able to implement some of our highly-anticipated planned work. In the past few weeks, we have transformed the booking process for candidates. With a brand-new website, complex CRM system and heaps more automation. Since this implementation, we have seen a huge shift in the workload. With far less admin required and a noticeably smoother journey for candidates.

Due to these digital transformations within our company, we have not only been able to survive during the pandemic; our business has thrived, with more bookings than ever before. Thanks to the new system requiring less admin, we are looking at expanding the services we offer. Furthering our market and developing our digital strategy even more.

The award sits amongst other accolades won over the years including:

  • the Stray FM Skipton and Beyond Awards 2018:
  • Special Recognition Best Customer Service Award.

To have been recognized as a forward-thinking enterprise is a great achievement, and is included with like-minded establishments in this industry allows us to further our network. We can also learn best-practice for continuing improvements in digitisation.
