Nominations for Yorkshire Choice Awards 2023, Demelza Lowe for Business Woman of the year and Lowe Maintenance for Independent Business of the year.

Nominations for the Yorkshire Choice Awards 2023

Double whammy!

The Yorkshire Choice Awards are around the corner, and we are thrilled to announce we have been nominated TWICE. It’s an honour to sit amongst some of the finest businesses and people in Yorkshire within our nominated categories:

  • Business Woman of the Year
  • Independent Business of the Year

Most awards are down to a panel of judges, but the great thing about the Yorkshire Choice Awards is that it all comes down to you – people who actually live in Yorkshire (and beyond!). Anyone can get involved. So, we’re asking you to give us a helping hand over the finishing line.

See below for a step-by-step video on how you can support our efforts – we have until April to get as many votes as we possibly can! But remember, you can only vote once per device – so make it count by entering Demelza and Lowe Maintenance in both the above categories..

Why vote?

We’ve been making some serious waves in the rural education sector. With the launch of our shiny new portal, website and more, in case you hadn’t noticed – it’s been a time of change here at Lowe Maintenance. Not only have our online booking system and digital courses made learning more accessible to everyone – they are paving the way for innovation in our industry. Our candidates truly value being able to work at their own pace and time – who wants to interrupt the lambing season with a pesticide training course?! It’s developments like this that keep rural communities doing what they do best.

Of course, none of this would be possible without Demelza at the heart of Lowe Maintenance. She has put in countless hours to make new and exciting things happen here. Last year, she pioneered the UK’s first online sheep dipping course right from our doorstep. Now, we think it’s time she emerges from the background and took some credit for her achievements, what do you think?
