Lowe Maintenance did a fantastic job of taking an absolute beginner and getting me safely and confidentiality climbing trees.

I would definitely recommend it, especially to any ecologists who are looking to conduct aerial inspections of trees for protected species such as roosting bats. Phil our instructor has many years of experience and is very knowledgeable about tree climbing, arboriculture and ecology as well.

Since completing the course a couple of weeks ago, my colleagues and I have been out completing aerial tree inspections for roosting bats. Thanks, Phil and Demelza!

  2. Catrin Scott

I thoroughly enjoyed my time on this course. Our trainer, Phil, is very knowledgeable and obviously enjoys sharing his knowledge. Due to the small number of student present, Phil was able to spend time helping us all individually and answered any questions we had.

If any of us were a bit nervous or uncertain with regards to moving about the tree canopy, Phil reassured us and suggested different ways of going about a particular task, which made things a lot easier. I can’t wait to use the skills and knowledge I gained during the week!

  3. Rob Henry

Just passed my cs38. Great course. Great training. Back for cs39 shortly.

I have recently done Tree Climbing and Rescue, (old CS38) and using a chiansaw from a harness (old CS39) with Lowe Maintence training – and I can say I would recommend them wholeheartedly. The knowledge from the instructors is second to none, there is no rush, your allowed to discover you limits (and then challenge them!) at your own pace, and you are set up for a good assessment experience. I’ve done alot of different training in a wide variety of industries – this is one of , if not the best I’ve been involved in. Thoroughly recommended.

  5. Helena Davies

This is a really good course, and the instructor Phil Lowe is brilliant. Safety was the priority at all times. On completion of the course, I feel confident that I can safely climb trees and perform aerial rescues.

  6. Joe Dessoy
